When couples visit Hidden Gardens Venue, they are often surprised by how peaceful it feels. We sit just off Highway 199, close to downtown Fort Worth, yet the property feels private once you step under the trees. We are a women-owned, family-run venue set on six acres, and we are currently working toward historic landmark recognition. The stone building dates back to 1932 and still carries the character of its early years. That history sets the tone for weddings here.
A Fort Worth Wedding Setting Built on Real History
Hidden Gardens has a long, winding history that gives the entire property a sense of depth and character. It was once a family home, then a hunting lodge, then a Russian Spy Camp. When we restored it, we kept the stone structure and the original character. You notice it the moment you walk into the parlor and see the wood fireplace and antique sofas. The Roosevelt Room brings more of that character with antique tables and chairs for up to forty-five guests. The building feels grounded, which helps the day feel personal and warm.

Spaces That Help Your Day Flow
Each space sits close enough that guests move naturally from one moment to the next. The concrete ceremony site has a greenery-covered iron arch that frames the vows. The covered patio works well for cocktail hour, especially when we turn on the heaters in the colder months. Inside, the historic bar gives guests a place to gather. For smaller indoor gatherings, we can host up to forty guests comfortably in air conditioning. Larger groups use both indoor and outdoor spaces. Everything stays connected, so guests never feel lost.
Support for Your Timeline
Your rental gives you a generous block of ten to twelve hours, giving you plenty of time to settle in, prepare, and enjoy the full flow of your event. You also receive a one-hour rehearsal when available. Both suites help you settle in and enjoy the early part of the day. The bridal suite includes a lounge and private bath. The groom's suite includes a TV, gaming system, card table, and private bath. An on-site manager stays with you throughout the event to oversee the facility.
We also include wood farm tables, one hundred wood padded chairs, decorative stands, cake and gift tables, and easels. Indoor fireplaces on both levels give you a warm backdrop for gathering and photos.
Food, Beverage, Vendor Choice, and the Prep Kitchen
You’re welcome to bring the vendors you prefer, with only two required to come from our approved list. Bartending must go through GR8 Bartending. Security is required when alcohol is served and is booked through us. Many couples appreciate the freedom to choose their food. The prep kitchen makes it easier for caterers to move in and out. They enter through the service entrance, which connects directly to the cocktail area, bar room, and back door. The kitchen includes a sink, a metal table, and a refrigerator.
Some couples enjoy the local flavor of Amazing Grace BBQ. Their meats and sides tend to fit well with garden settings and relaxed receptions.
What Is Included With Your Booking
A booking gives you access to indoor and outdoor areas, the ceremony site, the covered patio, the pergola patio, the suites, indoor commercial restrooms, and decorative pieces such as tables and stands. You can add rental items like lanterns, garland, twinkle lights, wood slices, and cake stands. Engagement and bridal photo sessions are available for an additional fee.
How the Day Comes Together
The day usually starts with everyone settling into the private suites, setting the tone for a relaxed and personal celebration. Most couples begin the morning getting ready in these spaces before heading to the concrete ceremony site beneath the greenery-covered arch. Guests then make their way to the pergola patio for drinks and conversation before dinner. The mix of indoor and outdoor areas carries the rest of the evening with ease. The stone building and antique furniture create a natural backdrop that needs very little added decor.
Fort Worth Setting and Photo Spots
Its prime location near downtown Fort Worth makes getting here easy for couples and guests. Once on the property, the trees offer privacy and quiet. Couples often take photos along the pathways or near the stone exterior. The building has become one of the most popular spots for portraits.
Conclusion
We care for this property so every couple can enjoy a wedding day shaped by history, quiet spaces, and the natural flow of the grounds. Hidden Gardens offers a setting that feels personal from the moment you arrive through the trees to the last moments with your guests. We would be glad to walk you through the property and talk about how your Fort Worth wedding can come to life here.
